Spring Valley School District GIFTED AND TALENTED PHILOSOPHY:

The goal of programming for gifted and academically talented students in Spring Valley School District is to:

  • Stimulate, challenge, and encourage them to achieve maximum growth for their personal development and society’s benefit.
  • Enrich their experiences beyond what is offered by a regular standards-based curriculum.
  • Provide a differentiated curriculum for gifted and talented students across all grade levels in each of the learning areas.
  • Meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of the gifted and talented students.
