Make sure you get outside to have some fun!
Bring a dish and celebrate the holidays with us!
Parents, Administrators, Students and Staff are all welcome to our monthly potluck gatherings! We ask that everyone bring at least a small dish or a beverage to share with the community. The potluck is an excellent way to bring our community closer together, and we hope you attend. Every third Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
Submit your signed slips!
The Spring Valley Food Bank needs help! We are joining together as a community to help fight hunger by running a food drive to collect nonperishable foods. We ask that you send in one nonperishable food item with your child to their school next Tuesday. A district truck will pick up all of the contributions and deliver them to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city.
Parent Teacher Conferences are being held this week at SVHS from 4:30-7:30pm. All schools will follow the normal full day schedule.
Please sign up for the bake sale by December 13th. Sales will support our libraries!
Friday's test will cover the early Colonial period, including:
- Jamestown
- The Calverts
- Plymouth Plantation
- The Massachusetts Bay Experiment
- The Colonial Expansion

Our primary purpose is to graduate successful life-long learners who are responsible citizens in the global community. Spring Valley Liberty students, in collaboration with educators, parents, and the Spring Valley community, will develop as motivated, self-reliant, creative, and ethical individuals who respect differences in others. Spring Valley Liberty High is strengthened and enriched by the diversity of our students, families, and staff. We are committed to cultivating intellectual, social, and emotional growth in an inclusive environment where diverse experiences and perspectives are essential to the rigorous education we provide.
Welcome to the new school year!
We had an awesome year last school year and we are anticipating even greater achievements this school year. I hope you and your family had an enjoyable summer vacation. There are so many opportunities here at Spring Valley Liberty High School for your child in the areas of academics, athletics, and character building programs.
We saw improvements in all areas of our End-of-Course Testing in the subject areas of English I, Algebra I, US. History, and Biology I. ACT (College Entrance Exam) student test scores also increased from the previous school year. We want to ensure that our students are prepared for their next journey in life upon graduation from Spring Valley Liberty High School. Our staff works diligently to ensure your child is prepared for their future.
Once again, I look forward to working with you during this school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to come by the school or call me at 843-464-3710. GO PATRIOTS! contact-us-icon1.png
